

The only treatment option offered to me was hormonal birth control, which I knew would not address the root cause of my condition. Seemingly overnight, I had developed debilitating menstrual periods that often left me curled in a ball on the floor. I became certified to teach and enjoyed teaching yoga classes for several years.ĭuring that time, I confronted a severe health challenge of my own, and I was unsatisfied with the conventional treatment options. I soon discovered Iyengar Yoga, a yoga style known for its precision and therapeutic applications. These mindfulness practices helped me learn how to stay present in my body and how to process my grief, and they opened my mind to the world of holistic therapies.


I discovered yoga and meditation 19 years ago as I attempted to heal and regain stability after losing my mother to cancer as a teenager. My passion for holistic medicine was sparked by personal experience.
